Ross Hoffman, a member of Twitter’s business development team, announced at the Sports Marketing Summit that Twitter will launch the dashboard in the last quarter of 2010.

The analytics dashbord will be able to show users the changes in traffic and which tweets are spreading and which of those users in your network are influential in spreading those tweets.

The product will be free, at first, and compete with other independent analytics tools for Twitter in development, such as Klout, Omniture and Twitalyzer, reported Mashable.
