A majority of Realtors have adopted social media practices because more and more homeowners and homebuyers expect to them to offer social media features to try to sell homes. Many consumers are increasingly shopping for a home online first. Photo and video tours are important features for homeowners. About 73 percent of homeowners say they are more likely to list their house with Realtors who offer video tours. More than 83 percent of Realtors are using social media but  only 12 percent are offering video tours.  If anything, the stats show it’s time for Realtors to get on board and adopt social media strategies to sell houses.
