1. Start a conversation with your ideal site visitor – Whoever is reading your site content should feel that it was written for them.
2. Speak to a list of features and benefits – Nobody cares about you or your company but they do care about themselves. Try to focus on the benefits to your readers.
3. Make an enticing value proposition – Utilizing a headline and a few bullet points, write so that your ideal reader will want to learn more about you. Be clear and concise as you highlight the page’s content and don’t make your visitors think too hard.
Remember, acquiring new customers isn’t only about writing but also defining and catering to your ideal site visitor. Most of which are in a hurry and will give your site a limited amount of time to convince them that they are in the right place.
